Chicken Popcorn

A quick, crispy, super-flavorful chicken popcorn that comes together with fewer steps and maximum taste.

Ingredients

For marination:

  • 400 grams chicken cut in cubes
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp paprika powder
  • tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp cajun spice (add half a tsp more of paprika/red chilli powder if you don’t have cajun)
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • black pepper
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp soya sauce
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup milk

For the flour mix:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • ¾ tsp cajun spice
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • Oil for deep frying

Instructions

  • Marinate the chicken with the above ingredients.
  • Prepare flour mixture.
  • Dip the chicken in flour mix and coat the chicken. Massage the chicken well and shake off excess flour.
    If you want a crunchier coating, pour a few tbsp more of milk into the remaining chicken marinade and re-dip the chicken in marinate and then flour again.
  • Deep fry until golden.
