Molten Chocolate Microwave Mug Cake

A mugful of divine chocolate goodness in the microwave in just 1 minute and 20 seconds.

Ingredients

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 tbsp all purpose flour
  • 3 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • A pinch of baking powder
  • A pinch of baking soda
  • 2 tbsp oil/butter
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla essence
  • 4 tbsp milk
  • A bar of plain milk chocolate

Instructions

DIRECTIONS

  • Take your mug and add in all the dry ingredients. Whisk well.
  • Add the oil, essence, and milk. Mix well.
  • Place the chocolate pieces throughout the batter covering all sides. Push the chocolate in and cover top with batter.
  • Microwave on high for 1 minute and 20 seconds.
  • Serve and enjoyy.

Notes

NOTES:
  • The cooking time may vary in different ovens. Mine took 1 minute and 20 seconds, but I recommend that you check after 1 minute and if it done that’s it. Or else give 20-30 seconds more cooking time.
  • I added 1 full bar of the chocolate into the batter because I love the melted chocolate in my cake a lot. But you just add in a small piece of chocolate too, as you like.
