Chocolate Cake Pizza

A rich chocolate cake with milk and white chocolate ganache with different toppings



  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 2 heaping tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/2 cup boiling water
  • 1/4 cup butter milk
  • 1 whole egg
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla essence

For the milk chocolate ganache

  • 150 ml whipping cream
  • 200 g milk chocolate finely chopped
  • 1/2 tbsp vegetable oil

For white chocolate ganache

  • 1/2 cup whipping cream
  • 1 heaping cup white chocolate chopped

For toppings

  • Maltesers
  • Snickers
  • M&Ms
  • Ferraro rocher
  • White chocolate shavings
  • Milk chocolate shavings



  • Preheat oven to 350F. Lightly grease a 7.5 cm round cake pan and line it with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, mix together the flour, sugar and salt.
  • In a saucepan, melt butter and add in the cocoa powder. Stir together. Pour boiling water and allow mixture to boil for 30 seconds. Turn off heat and and pour this over the flour mixture. Stir lightly to cool.
  • In another bowl add in th butter milk, egg, soda and vanilla. Stir this mixture into butter/chocolate mixture.
  • Pour into prepare pan and bake for 20 minutes.
  • Take out the cake and allow it too cool.

For milk chocolate ganache

  • Place chopped chocolate in a bowl
  • In a saucepan heat the whipping cream just until boiled.
  • Pour this hot cream over the chocolate. Let it sit for 3-4 minutes.
  • Then stir well till combined and add in the oil.
  • Refrigerate for atleast half an hours.

For white chocolate ganache

  • Heat cream just until boiled.
  • Pour over chopped chocolate, let rest for 5 minutes.
  • Stir till dissolved.
  • Refrigerate for half an hour or more.
